Mosaic Retreat’s focus on Glass on Glass Mosaics. Kory strives teach “artistic freedom without self-doubt” while creating life-long bonds through creativity. Learn the skills that that will spark your creative spirit and push you thrive artistically. Our studio is full of fantastic treasures and the supplies are some of the best in the country. The studio has an abundant supply of stained glass from vintage handmouth blown to current production glass made right here in Oregon. In addition to the sheet glass, Kory and her team create inclusions for mosaics and fusing using a process called vitrigraph.
We also offer onsite lodging.

Individual Attention
The classroom environment at Marvelous Mosaic allows students experienced educators to give them the time and attention that they need in order to succeed. We believe in keeping class numbers between 10 – 12 students maximize learning potential. In addition our retreats have between 3 – 4 instructors during daytime learning.

Our focus on teaching the Physics of Glass includes a strip cutting method designed to minimize waste and maximize the utility of your glass. Additionally, Kory’s Opacity Rules for Glass on Glass mosaics offer a versatile diagram that simplifies the glass selection process, ensuring optimal views both during the day and at night, thus enhancing any glass on glass mosaic.

We are a very small mosaic retreat center owned and opperated by two sisters, Kory and Rachel Dollar. In addion the two have an ecomerce retail center selling mosaic and vitrigraph tools and supplies.
