Step into the forest with us for a weekend retreat celebrating the beauty of trees in every season. In this Glass on Glass Mosaic Retreat, you’ll create your own 12″ x 12″ framed mosaic, exploring the delicate silhouettes of evergreens, birch, and aspens.
This workshop focuses on more than just building your mosaic—it’s about learning how light transforms your art. You’ll discover how to design realistic shadows and highlights by carefully considering where your light source enters the grove. These techniques will add incredible depth and movement to your finished piece, bringing your forest scene to life.
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced mosaic artist you will love this retreat.

🏡 Retreat Details
- Bunks built into the wall — sturdy, cozy, and outlets nearby
- Amenities provided — bedding, pillows, ear plugs, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash
- Bring hard-bottom slippers for comfort
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting glue on — it doesn’t wash out!
🍽 Meals & Studio Access
- Studio open until 10 PM (instruction ends at 5 PM) — please respect this rule and only work with individual lights and quiet voices after 10 pm
- $100 meal/venue fee includes:
- 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2 dinners
- Snacks & refreshments all weekend
- Shared meals foster community (no restaurants nearby)
- Bonus: Thursday night stay includes Friday breakfast
- Potluck Thursday if you are joining — bring something to share
✈️ Traveling from Out of Town?
- Airport pickup/drop-off available for $75 each way

- All sales final
- Cancel >45 days: transfer available if spot fills
- Cancel <15 days: credit forfeited
- One reschedule allowed within 6 months
- Final payment due 30 days before event
