At Marvelous Mosaic Fine Art, the Wednesday night fusing course using recycled materials offers a creative and eco-friendly experience for participants. Led by skilled instructors, the course begins with an introduction to the art of glass fusing, highlighting the beauty of repurposing materials to create stunning fusion inclusions. Note we are not making elobrate projects. We are creating elements with recycled COE 90 to use in future projects.
Participants learn various techniques for working with recycled glass, including cutting, shaping, and fusing. They explore innovative ways to incorporate recycled glass into their designs. Using all COE 90 Bullseye Glass
Throughout the evening, emphasis is placed on sustainability and environmental consciousness, inspiring participants to think creatively about reducing waste and giving new life to discarded materials. Kory saves all of her broken pieces and misfits from here exploration in glass throughout the year. You will have access to ample supplies and materials for your low cost of just $50. This is a great opportunity to get your feet wet and explore the arts through fusing.
The atmosphere is one of camaraderie and exploration, with students sharing ideas and supporting each other’s creative journey. By the end of the course, participants leave with a newfound appreciation for recycled materials and the skills to continue their glass fusing adventures at home.
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, the Wednesday night fusing course at Marvelous Mosaic Fine Art offers a unique opportunity to unleash your creativity while making a positive impact on the planet.
All fused projects will need to be picked up 24 – 48 hours after the class. If students are from out of town, they will be responcible to pay for packing and shipping.
